Goals and competencies

The goals of this Master's degree are in line with the stipulates of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (MECES) and ensure the achievement of the basic competencies required to obtain a master's degree, following article 3.3, Appendix I of R.D. 1393/2007.

Fulfilment of the goals means students have achieved competencies that must be consistent with the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, with the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility for the disabled, and with the values proper to a democratic and peace-loving culture.

Number of places for new students

Total number of places available: 30

A minimum of 20 students are required to teach the Master's programme.

Reserved places: 5% for students with a certified disability of 33% or more.

Specific admission conditions

Entry profile:

  • Students from the following degrees: Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Helath Biology, Chemistry and Veterinary.

Selection criteria
The Master's Academic Committee will assess:

  • Curriculum vitae completed with a motivation letter.
  • Title degree, taking into consideration average mark and ending year: up to 3 points.
  • Previous experience and other achievements (written works, courses, seminars and/or seminars related to the Master's profile): up to 2 points.
  • Knowledege of languages: up to 1 point. Official certificate of Level B1 (minimum). In case the student does not own an official language certificate, there will be a test consisting of a translation and a text analysis of a scientific text in English.

Fees: 1st matriculation: nationals and residents: 4.535 € ; non-EU non-residents: 5.885 €  (approximate information).
