Postgraduate Open Programme

The situation that our country is going through stimulates all public institutions, and in our case, the University of Alcalá, to provide innovative solutions that bring the training of the highest level to both workers and the unemployed. Lifelong learning is, without a doubt, one of the essential tools to improve our competitiveness as a collective. The University of Alcalá, aware of this continuous need for training of university graduates and the aspiration that some of them have for a more flexible education than the one currently offered, has launched the Postgraduate Open Programme. This programme aims to bring postgraduate training closer to all those graduates who wish to learn specific techniques or disciplines that are part of the current curricula, giving them the opportunity to design a curriculum tailored to their needs, without being obliged to matriculate in a full university course. Within the framework of this Postgraduate Open Programme, the University will offer, in each academic year, a set of Master's Degree subjects for students to matriculate in, encouraging continuous learning and interdisciplinarity. In this sense, the Programme allows students to matriculate in different Master's courses, provided that there are places available in them, thus configuring an education tailored to their needs.
